SOCIAL SCIENCE
We start by checking your cover pages and political maps you did yesterday.
We can play some guessing games with countries and capitals.
I am thinking of a country which has borders with Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia. Its capital city begins with B. (Slovakia, capital Bratislava)
We will have three of you reading your riddles for the rest of the class to guess the country you describe.
We read the captions and comment the photos on pages 24 and 25.
We do activities 1, 2 and 3 in the notebook
FINISH POLITICAL MAP. countries and capitals
When all the borders are clear, use a black pen to write the names of the countries (all in upper case as in book page 26). Then use a blue pen for the capitals (only first letter in upper case).
If you have little space for writing because the country is too small, you can use numbers and write them on the side of the map, later in your notebook.
