SOCIAL SCIENCE

We use the first 5 minutes to revise pages 30 and 31 before taking a QUIZ.

We look at the physical map and identify Europe's main mountain ranges and rivers.

We take QUIZ 5 page 31. Write numbers 1 to 5 and then answer the questions you hear. You need to write the names of rivers and lakes.

We hand out a template with the main rivers. You stick it to your notebook and label the rivers mentioned below.

We copy this list of rivers next to the map. They are classified according to the body of water (sea, ocean)  that they flow into: 

Arctic Ocean: Pechora, Dvina 

Atlantic Ocean: Loire, Seine, Tajo

 Baltic Sea: Oder, Vistula

 North Sea: Thames, Rhine, Elbe

Black Sea: Danube, Dniester, Dnieper

 Sea of Azov: Don

Caspian Sea: Volga, Ural

Mediterranean Sea: Ebro, Rhone, Tiber


 HOMEWORK

Make sure your maps are complete and glued to your notebook.

Make sure you've done interactive worksheets 9,10, 11 and 12 Social Science 6º
